I am new to NASCAR to bear with me. I know the lug nuts are glued on the rim, but how are they put on so when the wheel is put on the car the lug nuts are not pushed off by the studs?

The wheel studs on a Cup car aren't the same as what you'd find on a street car. Instead of a flat end, the wheels studs have a rounded nipple about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. The nipple helps guide and hold the lug on when the wheel is changed.
