Rochester 2 Barrel Problems

I have a 305 with a Rochester 2 barrel running circle track. I am having issues with the carb coming out of corners being pretty much dead. About 3/4 of the way into the straight it works again. I am thinking it has float issues. Has anyone run into this or have any ideas on how to take care of the problem. (I can't change to a Holly)
