Tire press. dirt to asaphalt

I have started driving a pure stock car on a 3/8 mile dirt track in N.C. The last race we were hooked up and was the class of the field until I tore the center out of the rim. we are going to drive a 3/8 asaphalt in a couple of weeks. Can someone give me a general rule of thumb on the difference in pressures we need to start with?
