With the temperature beginning to climb as it always does this time of year, the racing is really beginning to heat up with the FASTRAK Modern Chevrolet Southeast Touring Series. With a payout in excess of $115,000 in July and August, the level of competition continues to intensify with each event.  Clearly, with $115,000 up for grabs, it’s no coincidence why large crowds continue to turn out for FASTRAK events where the level of competition is so intense; an occasional caution flag not only allows the drivers to catch their breath, but the fans as well.  Additionally, the FASTRAK Modern Chevrolet Southeast Touring Series has produced 9 different winners in the last 9 events.  In the FASTRAK Series $115,000 DAYS OF SUMMER, race events are producing multiple position changes lap after lap, and more recently, in excess of 30 challenges for the top spot in a single event.

In events already held this summer combined with the FASTRAK Series $115,000 DAYS OF SUMMER throughout July and August, over 125 different race team from 10 states will have entered FASTRAK Modern Chevrolet Touring Series events in an effort to claim a share of one of the country’s largest short track touring series overall payouts.  Amazingly, just after the conclusion of the FASTRAK Series $115,000 DAYS OF SUMMER, less then thirty days will pass before FASTRAKS’ $250,000 Grand Nationals are set to begin

At the mid-way point of the summer, among the events remaining on the FASTRAK Touring Series schedule are stops at  the storied Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH on August 9, for the “The GM Performance Parts 40” where the winner will bank $5000.00.  Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, VA will be the home of the “Pro Late Model Nationals” August 29-31 where the winner will collect an impressive $10,000.00.

If the large crowds and level of competition already seen this summer are any indication, the FASTRAK Series $115,000 DAYS OF SUMMER could produce a level of competition race fans will still be talking about in February.
