Hobby Stock Question

Hi all,

I bought a 79 Monte Carlo that I'll be building as my first hobby stock car. The previous owner started the conversion, but stopped half-way through. It looks as if the floor pans had rusted through because he riveted in sheet metal over the stock floor. The rules @ Potomac Speedway says that the floor pans must be stock... How do I go about staying within the rules without having to buy another car???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
