Leadfoot Rally; Crazy Multi-Motorsport charity race; $2500 street cars

CALLING ALL DRIVERS! Here is your chance to join an elite group of racers while supporting our veterans. This is a group that feels the rush as the white lines blur from speed. Folks that feel fear as they push a car to the limit, but they do it anyway. Drivers that have something burning inside them; the need to test themselves, the need for speed, the need to feel alive.

The Leadfoot Rally is the stage where men and machines duel to be crowned the ultimate multi-motorsport champion. There are 24 fun loving  and determined drivers (or 2 man teams of drivers). The racecars are any model, any make, any type as long as they are street legal and cost $2,500 or less. Basically they will be a mismatch of hoopties, clunkers and everything in between. Half the challenge of the Leadfoot Rally is keeping your racecar together and running. The Leadfoot Rally 2009 will be competitive and challenging, however the entire purpose of the Rally is fun.

Leadfoot Rally drivers will pit their skills and determination against each other in all major forms of racecar competition:
1) Drag Racing on the NHRA sanctioned Pueblo Motorsports Park NHRA drag strip
2) NASCAR Style Circle Track Racing on the fastest  ¼ mile oval in the US, I-25 Speedway
3) Formula 1 style Road Racing on the famed, 2.2 mile Pueblo Motorsports Park professional road course
4) X-Games style Offroad Rally Cross race
5) Precision/Stunt driving event
6) Clunkerball Run. A legal “Cannonball Run” type rally to Las Vegas.

All the race tracks are in the rocky mountain town of Pueblo, Colorado (2 hours south of Denver), with the competition ending with the closing ceremony at the famed Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Leadfoot Rally dates are July 28th thru Aug 1, 2009. Entry fee is $800 per car. There will be RV/Camping at the track with partying and lie swapping each night.

Being a driver in the Leadfoot Rally, you will also help The Denver Fisher House/Fisher House Foundation and show our soldiers you support them and thank them for the sacrifices they have made. 100% of proceeds will go to The Denver Fisher House/Fisher House Foundation who supports Colorado’s and America's military during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. Everyone working on this event is a volunteer and with corporate sponsors we can raise some major money.
