DRY SUMP PUMP

hi there guys n girls
im currently fitting a dry sump pump to my australian holden 6cyl.
but have a few questions about setting it up?
its a weaver brothers 5 stage pump,i have it all fitted but am geting very little oil pressure!!
i have checked and re checked the connections and they seem to be ok
i have tried screwing the regulator in and out and seems to have no effect on the pressure!
its pumping a small amout of oil but not enuff to register on the oil guage.
any tips on what i am doing wrong or what i can do to sort out this problem?
i am using 15w 50w oil and running out of ideas on how to fix,cant seem to get much info here in australia
any help be greatly appreciated
trying to get my car ready for a big car show but losing hope because of the lack of info i can find.
