Need info from the pro

I every one
I wish to know what would be the pros and cons of racing with a 4.56 rear end ratio compare to a 5.13 especially if the track is a 1/4 mile instead of 5/8 mile

to resume I race on a 5/8 with my 4.56 and now I wish to race on a 1/4 with the same gear
would I loose a lot from the other guys that will be using 5.13 or I should make the switch wich I dont really want to do just for one race.
