need help

I am looking into buying a care to race. I was looking for advice as to what would be the best car for me to start with. I am looking at going into the street stock class.

It can be a 6 or 8 cylinder car
No modifications to the body engine or trans
American made car
All vehicles must use a two-barrel automotive type Rochester 2V carburetor with a maximum 1-11/16 throttle bore and a maximum 1-¼ venturi
