I am new to this here but I have been reading articles and posts about FWD cars. I am here to say I swear by them. No need for anyone to think they can not be competitive in a FWD. I know every track is different on rules so set ups may change. I have 2 championships in 3 years for my race team and 1 of which is mine in 2007 at Reno-Fernley Raceway I ran dirt for the first time and lead points all year in a 1987 Honda CRX si. I ran against 2.5 liter toyotas, mitso's, datsun, you name it and my car out performed and lasted longer than all the rest. One thing to remember is never put all the work on the car, as a driver know your car and its' ability and the car will show you yours at the same time. Anyone wanting to start out or even build a new car in a smaller class should in my opinion run a FWD.
